A New and Durable Body Glove Case for Your Droid

Motorola Droid Body Glove

The new Body Glove case for your Droid is a very innovative way to protect your phone from the hazards of everyday use. It includes both a hard protective layer as well as a softer exterior material that makes it easy to grip the phone. Other Droid cases usually force you to choose between the two and you’ll either end up with a phone that too slippery to hold, or not protected as well as it should be.

The other innovative feature of the new Body Glove case for your Droid is the integrated belt clip. The case has a fitting on the rear that you can attach a belt clip if you like to carry your phone this way. If you don’t use a belt clip you simply remove the clip and use the included plug to seal the mounting hole. This feature provides the ultimate in flexibility in the event that you change your mind later.

The last little thing that separates this new Body Glove case for your Droid from the pack is the kickstand included as part of its design. This kickstand is great for propping up the phone when you want to enjoy a video. Most other Droid cases don’t offer this and will require you to lean your phone up against something to obtain the prefect viewing angle.

All of these innovative features make the new Body Glove case for your Droid a great value for the price. If you have the new Droid and are looking for a clever way to protect it, check out the Body Glove case today.

Droid X Amzer Luxe Argyle Skin Case Review

The Amzer Luxe case is available in seven different colors including purple, orange, red, blue, hot pink, smoke grey and green to give you a wide universe of choice. Unlike similar cases that are only available in black or clear, the Amzer case combines the color you choose with an embossed argyle pattern to make it even more distinctive.

These cases are designed to be easy to install and will simply snap onto your Droid X. They are also easy to remove in case you want to dock your phone for charging. The material used in the Amzer case is a tough and durable plastic that adds very little bulk to the phone. It is textured enough to make it easy to grip your phone but still smooth enough to quickly slip the phone into your pocket.

The case is precision-engineered to provide complete access to all the buttons and ports on your phone. These custom cutouts in the case allow for easy access to these features while still providing protection for your phone. The case even provides extra protection for the side camera buttons as well as volume with a raised cover to keep out dirt and moisture. If you are looking for a Droid case with a little more personality than all the other bland offerings, the Amzer Luxe case might be the one for you.

Droid Otterbox Case Review

Unlike many other cases that simple slide onto your phone, the Otterbox commuter case actually adds several protective layers between your Droid and the dangers of everyday use. First, the kit includes a self-adhering protective film for the front of your Droid that is easy to install with the free lint-free cloth and squeegee provided. Once you have this film safely in place you next wrap the phone in the thin layer of silicone the inner case provides. This is then complimented even further by the hard outer case that is finally attached to the Droid to protect it from falls.

While all this protection would seem like it adds bulk to your phone, the folks at Otterbox have done an amazing job of keeping the whole case light and thin. Once installed on your Droid, the Otterbox Commuter Case adds very little weight or thickness. It also feels solid and gives you the impression that it can protect your phone from almost any assault.

The hard outer case is smooth, which makes it easy to slip your phone into a pocket while the silicon corners shield your Droid from almost any impact. There are even silicon covers for the audio jack and charge ports to protect them from the elements until you need to use them. When you do, you can simply flip open the covers and plug in.

Overall the Otterbox Commuter Case for the Motorola Droid provides excellent protection for your phone and looks good doing it.

This is a quick clip of the possible start up screen of the Motorola Droid. Looks to boot relatively quickly (in comparison to the iPhone 3G and 3GS at least). The controls are a little cryptic. What do you think?

DroidDoes Commercial Released

The new mobile power trio: Motorola, Google and Verizon, have released a couple more teasers about their new iphone killer – The Droid. One of the pieces of paraphernalia they have released is a new comercial entitled “iDon’t”. The video spot is a clever play on the iPhone brand and does a great job of pointing out the weaknesses of Apple’s smartphone. Although the Droid specs are only rumored at this point, the commercial does allude to the following features -

  • Real QWERTY Keyboard
  • Run Simultaneous Apps (Multitasking)
  • 5-Megapixel Camera with Built in Flash (“iDon’t take pictures in the dark.”)
  • Interchangeable Batteries

According to the video, the new smartphone is coming as soon as November. An astute TechCrunch reader has possibly pinpointed the release date to 10/30/09 at 1:00AM EST. If the release is this soon, be sure to look out for a lot more marketing similar to this video in the coming weeks.
